When placing an order for delivery, please be sure to provide a telephone number on which the courier driver can contact you or the recipient should there be any problems in delivering the order.
If for any reason no one is present to accept the delivery at the delivery address, the courier company will card you. On this card will be all the information you require to re-arrange delivery with them. Please read our Terms & Conditions for further information
- UK DELIVERIES
Courier or Royal Mail
The Naked Cake Company uses overnight delivery for all “Cake Kits” using either our chosen Courier or Guaranteed Next Day Royal Mail Signed For Delivery and for all other online orders within the UK unless specified. This does not include weekends or public holidays. On overnight deliveries the product will leave our premises the day before you wish to receive it. Standard delivery generally takes 1-3 working days.
In order for a parcel to be regarded as lost 10 working days should have passed.
We reserve the right not to send any breakable or fragile items beyond the UK if the product is deemed at risk of damage during transportation.
The Goods will be delivered to you at the address you provided during the order process which may be an address other than the billing address, but please note that extra documentation may be needed to comply with such orders.
We shall not be liable for any delay in delivering the Goods, however caused.
Delivery delays caused by the Courier and The Royal Mail and not The Naked Cake Company can be discussed with the service provider directly, and the tracking system available on their website can provide information on any delays to deliveries and should resolve any problems.
EUROPEAN UNION DELIVERIES
All orders will be shipped Standard Royal Mail. Deliveries will take around 3 -10 working days. For orders within the EU, the delivery will be charged according to the country. Please see the end of the document for full details.
- INTERNATIONAL DELIVERIES (Books, Cookie Cutters and Vouchers)
The Naked Cake Company will only ships books, vouchers and cookie cutters outside Europe. Goods will be sent via Royal Mail Signed For and can take up to 20 working days to arrive.
The Naked Cake Company cannot guarantee sending any orders outside of Europe – please contact directly for a quotation based on the delivery address and we can advise if possible.
Any customs or import duties are levied once the package reaches its destination country. The Naked Cake Company is not responsible for any additional charges for customs clearance, and our customers must pay for these in full. The Naked Cake Company has no control over these charges and cannot predict what they may be. Customs policies vary widely from country to country; you may want to contact your local customs office for further information. Delivery times may vary due to circumstances beyond our control.
Cancelling your online order:
You may cancel your online order up to 7 days from placing your order with us as long as it is not within 7 days of the delivery date. If we have already started working on your cake or order due to the delivery deadline it is not possible to cancel your order. Please see our Terms and Conditions. To cancel your order please contact our Customer Service Team on 01451 828 117. In addition, we will require a written cancellation notice by email to email@example.com.
Your cancellation notice must quote your name, address, the name or a description of the products ordered and your order reference number.
Please note different policies apply to all Bespoke Cake orders placed. You will be informed of these policies at the time of booking. For further information please contact us and we will be happy to assist you.
We employ professional carriers. Nevertheless, accidents can happen and so we ask that you check your order is correct before signing your delivery note.
In the unlikely event that you find that your order is incorrect, incomplete or damaged on delivery please notify our Customer Services Team immediately on 01451 828 117.
In order to claim a credit or refund please retain your order for inspection or send photo evidence alongside proof of purchase to firstname.lastname@example.org.
